Crimes against business has not only a financial impact on the business but the cost is passed on to customers. Shoplifting is a national priority, and we aim to tackle this by reducing offences against businesses and increasing detection rates.
Action taken:
Neighbourhood officers will provide reassurance, guidance, and support to businesses around retail crime. Persistent shoplifters have been and will be arrested and charged. Setting a positive stance, which is ongoing.

E-Scooters and E-Bikes are in the most part illegal to use in public and are a danger to riders and the public. Reducing the use of them by educating the public, proactively enforcing, and removing these from the streets reduces the risk to the riders and the public.
Action taken:
Neighbourhood officers are using different tactics to identify those on illegal e scooters and e bikes to gather intelligence. This information is used for planned operations, where these e scooters and e bikes have been and will be seized

Drug dealing fuels crime and antisocial behaviour as well as facilitating serious and organised crime groups to have a grip in communities. By our actions and acting quickly and effectively this will bring offenders to justice and removing drugs from our streets.
Action taken:
Neighbourhood officers aim to tackle drug dealing by proactive Intelligence gathering and high visibility Patrols in the area to gain evidence for potential Warrants on these locations and charges for offenders.
