Ongoing concerns regarding visitor behaviour around the lakes, including open water swimming, unauthorised BBQs, lighting of fires, and large group gatherings.

- Work in partnership with multi-agency stakeholders (e.g. National Trust, local authority, community safety partners) to address identified risks.
- Review and install clear, visible safety signage highlighting hazards around lake areas.
- Increase staff/ranger or patrol presence during peak times where possible.
- Deliver public safety awareness messaging to encourage responsible behaviour around open water.

To ensure Retail Crime within the area is taken seriously and support is given to local businesses.
Repeat Offenders will be prosecuted and issued with Criminal Behaviour Orders where appropriate.

The local policing team are prioritising and targeting prolific offenders with criminal prosecutions and ABC contracts. When offenders are also committing ASB in the local community, we are also working with Stroud District Council and neighbouring NPT officers on a multi-dimensional approach to solve both issues in conjunction with each other.
