Our ambition is to provide a neighbourhood policing service of which you, and we, can be proud. Prevention will be at the heart of our work, through well-informed collaborative problem-solving, building participation and strengthening the communities we serve. We will remain part of those communities, known and accessible to you, and policing in a way that both prevents harm and enhances your trust in us.
Our approach is shaped by five key themes: accessibility, prevention, vulnerability, relationships and partnerships. These will underpin all areas of our service and form the basis of our neighbourhood policing offer.
Your inspector for Stroud is Simon Ellson, pictured.

To reduce all forms of Anti-social behaviour within the area. This includes aggressive behaviour and criminal damage. We have been working with our partners and SOLACE to issue civil injunctions on those who regularly cause issues. We have also been working hard on reducing Anti –social behaviour, this has included more high visibility patrols especially in the Rope walk area where the toilets have been vandalised and Water lane. We will also be looking to work with the youth projects in the area.
