Reduce Volume of Town Centre street crime and anti-social behaviour (ASB) between June – September 2025
Action taken:
Operation Shield will be running from June 30 until 31st August. Op Shield will be a focused deployment of Police officers, PCSO’s, Special Constables, Cadets, supported by local key partners from the Community Safety Partnership to increase high visibility patrols in our Forest Town Centres.

We continue to proactively tackle this issue through drugs warrants, stop searches and closure notices

Reducing the number of Serious and Fatal Road Traffic Collisions in the Forest
Action taken:
We continue to proactively target offenders who repeatedly drive vehicles illegally on our roads and also those who use our road network to commit crime. We are doing this through specific tasking’s to our Specialist Operations Team and locally with our proactive and neighbourhood teams. We are also working with partner agencies to improve road safety.
