I began my policing career fresh out of university, in Nottinghamshire. It’s the best job in the world so I’ve stayed for 27 years and counting! I transferred to Gloucestershire at the start of 2025, and am responsible for the neighbourhood policing team that covers the Cotswolds.
Garrett joined the Constabulary in 1996 and has spent much of his service in the Neighbourhood Policing Departments in the Cotswolds and Stroud districts. He has lived in the Cotswolds for most of his life and loves it here. Garret leads team 1 and enjoys the opportunities to solve problems and improve quality of life issues that come with community policing.
I have been a Police Officer since 2009 spending my entire service policing in the Cotswolds. I have also lived in the Cotswolds for most of my life and I do love it.
I was fortunate to be part of the Schoolbeat team since it started in 2018, and in 2025 we developed into Youth Engagement Officers, and I still cover the Cotswolds area!
I thoroughly enjoy the role, the positive relationships with youths that have been built we are developing further, and I remain fully motivated for this new varied challenge.
I strongly believe that we are breaking down barriers and gaining the trust and respect of the young people in our communities.
I joined Gloucestershire Constabulary in 2019 as a Special Constable, starting my policing career in Stroud. In March 2022, I became a full time Police Constable and have completed the police degree programme. Since then I have worked in Stroud, Cirencester and in the force triage team before becoming a Neighbourhood Officer. I absolutely love my job and take pride in engaging with the local community, working with partner agencies, and helping to keep our communities safe.
– I joined the Constabulary back when the role of PCSO was first devised. I have worked all over the Cotswolds in that time but now love being part of the small team covering the very top of the County. I enjoy problem solving through securing court orders, such as ASB injunctions, to deter further offending by those engaging in frequent nuisance and criminal behaviour. I’m a keen footballer and football fan who hopes that Arsenal can finally end their wait for a trophy
