Our ambition is to provide a neighbourhood policing service of which you, and we, can be proud. Prevention will be at the heart of our work, through well-informed collaborative problem-solving, building participation and strengthening the communities we serve. We will remain part of those communities, known and accessible to you, and policing in a way that both prevents harm and enhances your trust in us.
Our approach is shaped by five key themes: accessibility, prevention, vulnerability, relationships and partnerships. These will underpin all areas of our service and form the basis of our neighbourhood policing offer.
Your inspector for Cheltenham is Steve Benbow, pictured.

2 Persistent Offenders have been arrested and remanded in Prison, Serving a couple of months each. Unfortunately they have both now been released from Prison. However, both have been given Injunctions and every time they breach, they can be arrested, depending on the level of evidence. The conditions of the Injunctions are not to go into certain shops or certain mapped areas of Cheltenham as well as other conditions. One offender has now breached these conditions, plus re-offended and has been sent to Prison for 82 weeks. This hard work by the team will continue, in partnership with Cheltenham Daysafe ( Shop security guards) and Cheltenham BID
