BikeSafe is all about getting out on the road and picking up useful tips along the way.
The day is run by our police motorcyclists but it isn’t a test or being told how to ride. Instead, it’s a chance to get out with people who have a wealth of experience – both as a rider and a first responder when things go wrong.
At a workshop, you’ll be shown the skills you need to read the road and improve your knowledge, followed by an observed ride where a police biker will follow you through Gloucestershire’s stunning landscape.
Afterwards, you’ll have a friendly chat about your ride - what felt good, and a few simple ideas that could make things smoother, safer, or more comfortable. No pressure, no judgement - just honest, helpful advice.
BikeSafe isn’t about picking faults - it’s about helping you get even more from your riding. Because even experienced riders pick up habits over time, and a small tweak here and there can make a big difference.
You’ll touch on things like positioning, cornering, overtaking, braking, and observation in a practical, real-world way that makes sense when you’re out on the road.
Our police riders teach making progress, in an analytical, processed and skilled way. Their goal is always to ride smarter; make progress quicker; plan approaches properly, and ride systematically.
At the end of the day, it’s just about riding smarter, feeling more confident, and keeping that freedom you get from owning your ride.
BikeSafe is reasonably priced and runs throughout the year. Learn more and book your ride.
