A road closure has been put into place on the A40 near Andoversford following a serious collision this morning (Wednesday 9 September).
Police were called shortly before 7am with a report that a number of vehicles had been involved in a collision on the A40 between Northleach and Andoversford.
One person has been taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for treatment to a suspected head injury.
Emergency services remain at the scene with motorists advised to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
Anyone who witnessed the collision but hasn't yet spoken to police is asked to get in contact.
