Man charged following suspected stabbing of teenage boy in Stroud

A man has been charged in connection with the suspected stabbing of a teenage boy in Stroud over the weekend.

Chace Stevens, aged 18 and of the Middle Leazes area of Stroud, has been charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Cheltenham Magistrate's Court today (Monday 14 September).

The charges relates to a suspected stabbing at a park in Stroud on Saturday night in which a 15-year-old boy sustained minor injuries.
