Appeal for witnesses and footage after moped was stolen in Bishop's Cleeve

Officers are appealing for information and footage from the public after a moped was stolen from Bishop's Cleeve and later found abandoned.

Police were called on Tuesday 8 September with a report that a white Aprillia SXR50 moped had been stolen from a driveway on Two Hedges Road.

The moped is believed to have been stolen between 8am and 5.30pm on the day.

Officers conducted enquiries after the incident was reported and the moped was found on Ward Close but had to be written off due to damage.

It is believed that the moped had been ridden around the Bishops Cleeve and Gloucester areas and was sighted by several members of the public before being dumped.

Investigating officers are now asking local residents to please come forward if they saw the moped, know who was involved in the theft or have any CCTV or dashcam footage which they feel may be relevant.
