Officers are appealing for a woman to come forward following reports that several people were attacked by her dogs.
Police have received reports that two dogs had been dangerously out of control and caused injuries to people in the Daisy Bank area of Cheltenham.
The first incident took place on Leckhampton Hill at around 11am on 22 September and saw the dogs jump up and scratch a woman after running towards her.
The second incident was reported at around 8.15am this morning (1 October) and saw one the dogs attack a man causing cuts to his legs.
The owner of the dogs did not provide her details on either of the occasions and officers are now asking her to make contact so that she can give an account of what happened.
The woman was described as white, aged in her 60s and had short grey hair which was longer on the top and shorter on the sides. She is of a slim build and usually wears jogging bottoms.
Both dogs are white in colour with one wearing a muzzle and the other not. They were described as suspected American Bull Dog breeds.
Under Section 3 of the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, it is an offence to have a dog dangerously out of control in any place, including all private property.
Investigating officers would also like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed what happened.
