A woman has died following a collision in Stroud on Friday (1 May) and police are appealing for witnesses.
Emergency services were called at around 4.40pm with a report that two vehicles had been involved in a collision on the A419 Ebley Bypass near Stroud at around 4.40pm.
The collision involved a blue Honda Jazz and a black Audi A6.
The driver of the Honda, a woman aged 90 and from Stroud, was airlifted to Southmead Hospital with serious injuries and died on Sunday evening (3 May).
Her family are being supported by a specially trained officer.
The driver of the Audi, a woman in her 60s from Monmouthshire, was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital with minor injuries and later discharged.
The road was closed while a collision investigation took place and has since reopened.
Investigating officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or has any relevant dashcam footage to get in contact.
