Police have released images of two women they would like to identify in connection with an assault which took place at Cheltenham Racecourse.
It was reported that the women, who are believed to be mother and daughter, assaulted a woman in her 20s by pulling a clump of her hair out and hitting her around the head multiple times.
Following the incident, which took place in the women’s toilet at the Evesham Road site at around 1.10pm on Friday 13 March, the women were escorted from the racecourse by security guards.
Investigating officers have completed a number of enquiries since the incident, but are yet to identify those involved, and they are now asking for the public's help.
They would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed what happened or who may be able to help identify the women.
One of the women was described as being in her 50s, with long straight blonde hair just below shoulder length. She was wearing a black and white tweed cape-style coat, a black top, black tights and black knee-length boots.
The second woman was described as being in her 20s, with long curly blonde hair. She was wearing a fluffy brown coat and knee-high heeled boots.
It is recognised that the images are not the clearest, but anyone who knows who the woman are is asked to submit information online by completing the following form quoting occurrence 53260012005: https://www.gloucestershire.police.uk/contact/af/contact-us/us/a-crime-that-has-already-been-reported/
