A man has died following a single-vehicle collision near Cirencester yesterday, Sunday 18 May, and police are appealing for witnesses.
Police were called shortly before midday with a report of a collision involving a motorcycle on the A433 Tetbury Road, near to The Thames Head Inn.
Emergency services attended and the motorcyclist, a man aged in his 60s and from Stroud, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin has been informed.
Investigating officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, which involved a red Honda NC750X motorcycle, or who has dashcam footage to contact police.
Closures had been put in place at the scene to allow for a collision investigation to take place, and these have since been lifted.
