Officers are appealing for witnesses to a pursuit which took place in Churchdown earlier this month.
At around 4pm on Sunday 8 March, officers were alerted to a silver Ford Kuga which was being driven on Pirton Lane and was suspected to have no insurance.
Despite officers' attempts to pull the male driver over, he continued driving and a pursuit ensued.
The pursuit saw the Ford travel along Moselle Drive before the driver and passenger got out on Andora Way and ran off.
Officers chased the males on foot and they were detained nearby.
The car was searched and a quantity of drugs were found by Police Dog Ollie and his handler.
An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, driving without a license, drug driving, failing to stop for a police officer and possession with intent to supply a Class B drug namely Cannabis.
A 19-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug namely Cannabis.
The pair have since been released on bail.
Enquiries are continuing and officers are now asking anyone who saw what happened or was driving in the area and has dashcam footage to get in touch.
