Officers investigating a sexual assault in Churchdown are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
It was reported that an unknown woman had approached and kissed a 13-year-old girl on the cheek without her consent. The woman then grabbed the girl by the arm as she attempted to board a bus.
The incident happened at a bus stop opposite the Esso garage on Pirton Lane at around 7.10am on Tuesday 10 February.
Officers have conducted a number of enquiries since the incident and a 37-year-old woman from Gloucester was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault on a female in connection with the incident. She was later released on bail pending further enquiries.
Investigating officers are now asking anyone who was in the area and saw what happened or who has any information to make contact.
It is believed that a number of other people were also waiting at the bus stop at the time and officers are particularly interested in hearing from them.
