Police are appealing for witnesses to an attempted robbery which took place in Gloucester last week.
It was reported that a group of four males had approached a man and woman before pulling out a Swiss Army knife and asking them for money.
The incident happened on the canal path between Wharfdale Way and The Causeway in Quedgeley at around 8.30pm on Saturday (7 March).
The group of males were described as being white and between the ages of 18 and 25. They were all riding BMX style bikes and wearing dark clothing with balaclavas.
A woman with blonde hair and who was walking an Alsatian dog was seen in the area at the time and it's believed she may have been with the group of males.
Officers conducted searches in the area but were unable to locate the group. They are now asking anyone who was in the area and saw what happened to make contact.
