Police appeal for information after report a man raped a woman in Gloucester

The incident happened in the street on Stroud Road at around 9.30pm last night (Sunday 21 June) and was reported to police during the early hours of this morning (Monday 22 June).

 

Following enquiries, a 41-year-old man from Gloucester was arrested and is in custody for questioning.

 

A scene guard remains in place at this time.

 

Enquiries are ongoing and investigating officers are asking anyone with information to make contact.

 

Additionally, they would like to hear from anyone who has CCTV or dashcam footage which they feel may be relevant.
