Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious collision which took place in the Cotswolds yesterday (Tuesday 23 June).
Emergency services were called at around 8.10pm with a report of a two vehicle collision.
The collision, which took place on the junction of Spratsgate Lane and Ewen Road near Shorncote, involved a blue Peugeot Rifter van and a silver Volkswagen Golf.
The driver of the van, a man aged in his 40s, was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol for treatment to serious injuries where he remains at this time.
Two other people were taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital as a precaution.
Several road closures were put into place while emergency services remained at the scene and reopened late last night.
Investigating officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or has any relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to get in contact.
