Officers are appealing for witnesses to the pursuit of a suspected stolen car which took place in Gloucester.
At around midday on Thursday 25 June, officers were alerted to a red Volkswagen Golf which was being driven in the Hucclecote area and was suspected to have been stolen.
The Volkswagen Golf was located in the car park of Wagon & Horses public house on Hucclecote Road where police attempted to block the car in however the driver rammed his way free and a short pursuit followed.
The car continued to Church Lane in Barnwood and stopped before the driver ran away. A foot chase ensued however officers lost sight of the man.
Enquiries continued and an 18-year-old man from Redditch was located a week later. He was arrested and later charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop for Police, handling stolen goods and being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
Harrison Wood was remanded into custody ahead of a court appearance on 4 August.
Investigating officers are now asking anyone who saw what happened or was driving in the area and has dashcam footage to get in touch.
