A Cheltenham man has been charged in connection with an incident in the town yesterday morning (Thursday 16 July).
William Keeling, aged 22 and of Springbank, Cheltenham, has been charged with Section 18 wounding, possession of a bladed article and Section 39 common assault.
It follows an incident in a car park on Rodney Road shortly after 6am yesterday when it was reported a man had stabbed another man.
The victim remains in a stable but serious condition in hospital.
Keeling has been remanded in custody and will appear before Cheltenham Magistrates later today.
