CCTV appeal after door staff were assaulted at Tewkesbury pub

Officers investigating the assault of door staff at a pub in Tewkesbury have released CCTV images of two men they would like to identify in connection with the incident.

It was reported that a man had tried to enter the pub but was stopped by door staff and told to wait outside as the venue was at capacity.

The man got into a verbal argument with the door staff and a second man, who was known to him, also got involved.

The second man then punched a member of door staff in the face which caused a fight to break out and saw three members of staff sustain facial injuries.

This took place on High Street in Tewkesbury at around 10pm on Saturday 11 July.

Investigating officers have conducted a number of enquiries to identify the men and are now appealing for information from the public.
