Police have closed several roads near the A417 in Birdlip following a serious collision this morning (Sunday 1 February).
Emergency services were called at around 9.40am with a report of a two vehicle collision on the A417 Birdlip bypass
The A417 has been closed in both directions between Cirencester and Gloucester (including the Air Balloon roundabout).
Road closures are also in place at the M5 junction 11a slip road, B4070 Buckholt Road junction and Twelve Bells junction while emergency services remain at the scene.
These are expected to remain in place for a number of hours with motorists asked to plan their route in advance and avoid the area.
