A man has died following a serious collision in Northleach yesterday (Wednesday 12 August) and officers are appealing for information.
We were called at around 4.40pm with a report of a collision on the A429 Fosseway near to The Old Prison.
The collision involved a green and black Kawasaki ZX900 motorcycle, a white Scania tipper lorry and a grey Nissan Juke.
Emergency services attended and the rider of the motorbike, a man aged in his 40s and from the Cotswolds, was treated by paramedics at the scene but passed away from his injuries.
His family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
The A429 from the Northleach Roundabout to the Old Prison Crossroads was closed while a collision investigation took place and has since reopened.
Investigating officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or has any relevant dashcam footage to get in contact.
