A man aged 55 from Gloucestershire has appeared in court today (Thursday 20 August) after being charged with 51 counts of sexual offences.
The offences were committed against a number of children he is related to and took place over a number of years.
The charges against the man, who is a white British national, include causing or inciting to engage in sexual activity; sexual assault by touching; sexual assault by penetration; and rape.
He has been remanded in custody ahead of his next court hearing on Friday 18 September.
