Man charged following execution of drugs warrant in Gloucester

A man has been charged following the execution of a drugs warrant in Gloucester earlier this week.

Santiago Sadiku, aged 33 of and Vauxhall Road in Gloucester, has been charged with the following offences:

• Possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A, namely cocaine
• Possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class B, namely cannabis
• Being concerned in the supply of cocaine
• Being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of Class B, namely cannabis
• Acquiring/using/possession criminal property

Sadiku has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Gloucester Crown Court on Thursday 10 September.

The charges relate to a drugs warrant in Gloucester on Monday (10 August) in which a quantity of cocaine, cannabis and cash were found at an address.

The warrant was executed in the Barton area of the city by officers from the Gloucester Neighbourhood Support Team, Dogs Unit and Drone Unit.
