Appeal for witnesses after group assault man in Gloucester

Officers are appealing for witnesses after a group assaulted a man in Gloucester last month, which left him with facial injuries.

The incident took place in the alley which connects Great Western Road to Claremont Road between midnight and 2am on Sunday 12 July.

It was reported that the victim was walking along the alleyway when three unknown males approached him and started to punch and kick him.

The suspects, who were wearing face coverings and dark clothing, rode off on bicycles following the assault. 

Officers have conducted enquiries since the report was made but have been unable to identify those responsible and are now appealing for information from the public.
