Police are appealing for information after an unknown man tried to smash a window in an attempt to gain entry to a house in Stroud.
The attempted burglary took place on Upper Church Road at around 6.10pm yesterday (Tuesday 18 November) and saw a man attempt to smash a downstairs window.
The homeowner disturbed the man, who was described as possibly wearing a red hat, and he left.
Enquiries are ongoing and police are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the incident or may have information or footage they feel is relevant.
