Police are appealing for dash cam footage following a report that a group of youths were throwing stones at moving vehicles in Cheltenham.
The incident happened on Tewkesbury Road, close to Moors Avenue, on Sunday 17 January between 2.45pm and 3pm.
The driver of a blue Mercedes was heading out of Cheltenham when they noticed a group of four youths by the side of the road. One of them picked up a handful of stones and threw them at the car, causing damage to the paintwork and cracking the windscreen.
The group then ran off when the driver stopped to challenge them.
Officers would like to hear from any drivers using that part of Tewkesbury Road at that time who may have dash cam footage which would help the investigation. They would also like to speak to any witnesses who have not already come forward.
