Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman reported she had been sexually assaulted in a Gloucester park.
The incident happened in Ayland Gardens during the afternoon of Thursday 16 June.
The woman was with a child in a pram when she was approached by a man who reached out to touch her without consent.
An altercation between them followed resulting in the man receiving scratches to his face.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who was in the park between 12.30pm and 2.30pm last Thursday and may have witnessed the incident or who saw anything suspicious at the time.
The man is described as being tanned, 5ft 6in in height, and of a skinny build. He did not speak with a local accent.
He was wearing jeans, a light coloured t-shirt and a light blue or faded blue baseball cap. He also had a dark, well-trimmed short beard.
These types of incidents often go unreported and officers would like to speak to anyone who may have seen anyone matching this description or been approached by them.
