Police are appealing for information after 12 war medals were stolen during a burglary in Lydney on Tuesday (11 August).
It happened between 11.15am and 1pm, when offenders entered the property in Highfield Road while the owners of the house were out.
The medals date from World War One and World War Two. Some old coins were also taken during the burglary.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses who may have seen anything suspicious in the area to come forward. They would also like to speak to anyone who has been offered a large number of military medals from the two World Wars.
Anyone with information should contact Gloucestershire Constabulary on 101, quoting incident 518 of 11 August. Alternatively, you can report information to us online at: https://www.gloucestershire.police.uk/contact-us/report-a-crime-or-incident/
