Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at a house in Hardwicke on Tuesday (2 June).
The owner returned from work at 5pm to discover thieves had forced open the back door of the property, taking valuables and cash before stealing an Audi parked outside.
They had searched the cottage and stolen a quantity of jewellery, watches and cash. They also took keys for an Audi TT Quatro, registration KX07 FVH.
It is believed that the thieves struck at 1.45pm, while the owners were at work.
A light coloured Mondeo-style car was seen driving slowly up and down the street shortly before the burglary took place. Police are also keen to trace a dark coloured Volvo estate which was in the area at the time.
Officers are appealing for anyone with information or CCTV and dash cam footage to contact them on 101, quoting incident 412 of 2 June.
