Police are appealing for information following a serious collision which took place near Down Ampney earlier today (Monday 13 December).
Emergency services were called to an unclassified road between Down Ampney and Meysey Hampton at around 12.30pm.
The collision involved a Suzuki Swift and a Vauxhall Zafira Tourer.
A woman, aged in her 40s, was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol with serious injuries, where she is currently receiving treatment. A man was also taken to Great Western Hospital in Swindon.
The road will remain closed overnight to allow a collision investigation to take place.
Investigating officers are asking anyone with information about the collision to make contact.
