A man has died following a two-vehicle collision in Fairford last night, Saturday 15 August.
Police were called at 7.55pm with a report of a collision between a red Vespa and a food delivery van on London Road, a stretch of the A417.
Emergency services attended and a 33-year-old man from Swindon was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin and the coroner have been informed.
All road closures have since re-opened.
Police would like to thank the members of the public who conducted CPR before the emergency services arrived at the scene for their efforts.
Officers investigating the collision are keen to hear from anyone who may have relevant dashcam footage or who witnessed the incident and have not yet spoken to police.
Officers would especially like to talk to to anyone who may have seen either the red Piaggio Vespa travelling the A417 in the Fairford area or the food delivery van in the Lechlade area.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 and quote incident 482 of August 15.
