Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident at Plock Court, Gloucester yesterday, Monday 12 October.
It followed a report of a collision between a grey Peugeot saloon and a black Volkswagen Golf at around 5.45pm. The occupants of both vehicles then ran off.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident and who have not spoken to police yet or who have dash cam footage.
Two men from Gloucester, aged 30 and 21, have been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm and are currently in police custody.
Extra patrols are now taking place to reassure the public. Gloucester Neighbourhood Policing Team will be in the area with the police engagement vehicle at Plock Court on Friday 16 October between 6pm and 7pm, and at Oxstalls Sports Park car park on Monday 19 October from 7pm to 8pm.
