Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was taken to hospital following a single vehicle collision in Kemble.
At around 8.40pm last night (Thursday 30 July), Police and the Ambulance Service responded to a report of a man in the road after coming off his bike.
This took place on Windmill Road and involved a cyclist, who sustained life threatening injuries.
After initial treatment at the scene, the cyclist was taken to Southmead hospital where he remains at this time.
It is believed that no other vehicles were involved.
The man, who is in his 40s, was riding a bright orange electric bicycle and investigating officers are asking anyone who saw the man before the collision or the incident taking place to call 101 quoting incident 491 of 30 July.
Officers are also asking for anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch and this can also be done by calling 101 or via our online form: https://www.gloucestershire.police.uk/tua/tell-us-about/cor/tell-us-about-existing-case-report/
