Police are appealing for information following a high value burglary at a house in Cold Harbour Lane, Newent yesterday afternoon (Monday 3 August).
The elderly owner returned from an afternoon out to discover thieves had forced open the back door of the property.
They had searched the house and stolen a quantity of silver and jewellery worth thousands of pounds.
The thieves struck between 2pm and 6pm, while the owner was out.
Officers are keen to speak to any witnesses or anyone who may have dash cam footage between those times.
