Police are appealing for witnesses following a two-vehicle collision in the Cotswolds on Wednesday lunchtime (14 September).
Emergency services were called to the A429 Stow Road, between Stow and Moreton-in-Marsh, at around 12.45pm.
A motorbike had been involved in a collision with a stationary lorry.
The road was closed and the motorcyclist, a man in his 70s, was taken by air ambulance to John Radcliffe Hospital where he remains with serious injuries. He is responding well to treatment and his condition is improving.
The road was closed for a number of hours while collision investigators conducted their investigation. It has since been opened.
Police are asking for anyone who has not yet spoken to officers that may have witnessed the collision, or assisted at the scene, to make contact. They are also keen to hear from anyone who may have relevant dashcam footage.
