Police are appealing for information following an attempted robbery in Gloucester which took place late yesterday evening (Monday 6 December).
It was reported that a man was walking along the junction of Painswick Road and Cemetery Road between 11.30pm and midnight when he was approached by two males. One of them demanded his phone whilst the second threatened him with a knife.
The man confronted the pair and was able to stop them from getting his phone. The victim was not injured and did not have anything stolen from him.
The first male was described as being 5ft 11ins tall, of a stocky build, having slightly tanned skin and a local accent. He was wearing dark jeans and a black hoody with the hood up over his head.
The second male was described as also having a local accent, of a similar height but of a stockier build.
Investigating officers have conducted CCTV enquiries and would now like to hear from anyone who lives in the area or has dashcam/CCTV footage which they feel could be relevant.
