Officers from Gloucestershire Constabulary's Specialist Operations Team have recovered a stolen car which was on false plates.
Police attended Naas Lane in Quedgeley at around 7.50pm yesterday evening (Thursday) after concerns had been raised about how a car was being driven.
Officers attempted to get the car to stop but the driver failed to do so and a pursuit ensued. The driver of the car eventually stopped nearby and the occupants then ran from attending officers.
The individuals were chased on foot by officers and dog handlers and three teenagers were located nearby. A 16-year-old girl, 15-year-old boy and 15-year-old girl were all arrested in connection with the theft of the car.
The car, which was identified as being previously stolen and on false plates, was seized by officers to allow for forensic examinations to take place.
The teenagers were released under investigation whilst enquiries into the incident continue.
