Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information following an attempted cooking oil theft in Andoversford last week.
At around 2.25am on Wednesday (20 July) a man was seen acting suspiciously in the grounds of The Royal Oak pub. When challenged he said he was there to collect cooking oil, before running to a white Transit van which was waiting for him in the car park and driving away.
The van was captured on CCTV.
If you witnessed the incident, recognise the van or saw anyone in a white Transit van acting suspiciously in the area around the time please contact police.
