Officers searching for a man in connection with an ongoing murder investigation have made an arrest.
A 34-year-old man was located in Gloucester and has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
At this time investigating officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
Emergency services had been called to an address in Barton, Gloucester shortly after 9am today, Friday 1 July.
A man aged in his 50s was pronounced deceased at the scene and a murder investigation was launched.
Closures remain in place on Vauxhall Road and Barton Street while enquiries continue in the area.
