A man has been charged in connection with a stabbing in Gloucester city centre in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Tiberiu Raducanu, 29 and of New Street, Gloucester has been charged with one count of attempted murder, one count of section 18 wounding with intent and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
The charges relate to an incident in Eastgate Street at 2.20am on Sunday 27 January where two 19-year-old men sustained injuries.
One man suffered serious injuries and was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for treatment. He remains there today (Monday 27 January) in a stable condition.
Another man suffered an injury to his hand and was also taken to hospital. He has since been discharged.
Raducanu has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court tomorrow (Tuesday 28 January).
