Officers are appealing for information after a man was injured during an altercation at Gloucester Park.
It was reported that a fight had broken out between two groups of men before a number of women became involved too.
This took place near the band stand at around 7pm on Saturday 27 May and one of the men sustained a head injury.
A 30-year-old man from Gloucester was subsequently arrested on suspicion of common assault, criminal damage and possession of class A drugs in connection with the incident. He was later released from custody after being issued with a conditional caution.
Despite the arrest, investigating officers are appealing for anyone who was in the area at this time and has not yet spoken to police to make contact.
