Officers are appealing for witnesses to an incident in Gloucester yesterday morning, Friday 11 November, where a weapon was discharged.
Police had been called by the ambulance service to an address in Reservoir Road shortly before 6am.
It was reported that a group had gone to the address in a vehicle, entered a property and then discharged a weapon. They then left in the vehicle, which may have been a BMW.
A male inside the address sustained a wound to his hand and was taken to hospital. He was discharged later that day.
At this time it is understood the weapon was a pellet gun and enquiries are ongoing to establish who was involved.
Investigating officers are keen to hear from anyone who has any information about what happened or who saw the vehicle in the area around that time.
