Officers are appealing for witnesses to a single vehicle collision which took place in Newent at the weekend.
Police were called to the B4215 Ledbury Road at 9.50pm on Sunday after a yellow Seat Ibiza with a black bonnet had left the road near to Newent Golf Course.
The occupants of the car left the scene prior to police arrival but have since been identified and are helping police with enquiries.
The driver of the car, a 19-year-old man from Ledbury, is currently in Queen Elizabeth Birmingham hospital with pelvic injuries but is in a stable condition. The passengers were uninjured.
Investigating officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the car being driven between Ledbury and Newent prior to the collision.
