Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious collision which took place in Tetbury yesterday evening, Tuesday 23 November.
Emergency services were called to Long Street at 5.30pm with a report of a collision involving a black Audi TT and a pedestrian which took place near to Close Hotel.
The pedestrian, a man aged in his 40s, sustained serious head injuries and is currently receiving treatment at Southmead Hospital in Bristol.
The road was closed to allow a collision investigation to take place and reopened shortly before 1am today (Wednesday).
Investigating officers are asking anyone who witnessed the collision and has not yet spoken to police to make contact.
Officers would also like to hear from anyone who may have dashcam or CCTV footage of the incident that they may feel to be relevant.
