Officers in Cheltenham are appealing for witnesses to a burglary which took place yesterday (Tuesday).
Police were called to Hampton Close at 6.20pm last night following reports of a burglary.
Officers attended and conducted searches of the area with the support of a dog handler but were unable to locate the offender.
CCTV enquiries show that the offender, a white male who was wearing dark clothing, forced entry to the property at around 5.40pm before running away after being found by the homeowner.
It is currently unknown if anything was stolen during the burglary.
