Police are appealing for witnesses to the attempted robbery of a woman in Chipping Campden earlier this week.
It was reported that the victim was stood outside Weighbridge Court at around 10.50am on Friday (10 March) when she noticed an unknown man walk past before returning.
The man then approached the woman and grabbed hold of her shopping bags but when she resisted he ran away towards Back Ends.
He was described as being white, 6ft tall and of an athletic build. He had a black woolly hat pulled down to his eyes, something orange over his mouth and was wearing a grey tracksuit with hoodie.
The victim was not injured and nothing was stolen.
Investigating officers are asking anyone who witnessed what happened or who has dashcam/CCTV footage from the time to make contact.
