Officers are appealing for witnesses after a man was injured following a robbery in Gloucester this afternoon.
Police were called to Bruton Way in Gloucester shortly after 3.10pm where it was reported that a man had attempted to steal a woman’s handbag.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and attempted murder in connection with the incident and remains in custody at this time.
This is believed to be an isolated incident and there is no wider threat to the public.
Investigating officers are asking anyone who witnessed this taking place to get in contact quoting incident 263 of 20 February.
